The Barnsley Parent Teacher Association (PTA) would like to welcome you to its home on the Internet! We're very excited about this site and the opportunities it provides to share information about our organization with you, your family, and the community.

Starting this year we are going to be posting a lot more information, some of it quite rapidly. Here's a summary of the Barnsley PTA web resources:

  1. http://www.barnsleypta.org - This public website will contain information that stays constant throughout each year: email addresses of our officers, PTA calendar, how to support our school and information like that.
  2. http://blog.barnsleypta.org - The public blog will be where you can get the latest greatest information on our upcoming events, PTA needs, "thank yous" we send out, and much, much more!
  3. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BarnsleyNet/ - The Yahoo Group "BarnsleyNet" is the place for our Barnsley community to come together and chat, discuss, question and post what's on their mind. Due to the nature of the topics discussed on this site, you must become a member of the group before accessing the posts and other information on the site. Details on how to do this can be found on the site itself.
